This blog has been created to show the relocation of an 1862 barn from Reading PA to my house in Waynesboro PA. My daughter will have her wedding reception here in August and then the barn will be used to store construction vehicles for my business and will also be used as a workshop. Just click on the titles in the green area to the right to see each step of the process.

Siding- Getting started
A friend lending me a hand putting on the siding. Jarod Bare, a former student stopped over to give me a hand with siding.
I started in the corner that I want to bring electric into. I hope to set my service soon now that most of the siding is on. This started out really rough until I got a routine going. This is tongue and groove siding called a 1 X 10 that I got from the Hicksville planing mill.
Getting to this point took a while.
It's so nice of your friend to drop by and help you with the sidings. Indeed, everything gets better with a friend by your side. I would love to see how your barn will turn out.
